Role: Data Infrastructure Engineer (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $30 - $100/hour

Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Data Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability, quality, and accessibility for analytical and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems. • Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes to support data warehousing and analytics initiatives. • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all data assets and systems. • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Experience with SQL, Python, or Scala for data engineering tasks. • Proficiency in data pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow, Spark, or similar frameworks. • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services. • Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing concepts, and schema design. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
