Senior Project Manager Data, AI & Technology Transformation

What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $75-80 per hour. • Incorporated Business Rate: $90-95 per hour. • 12-month contract. • Hybrid schedule, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Program & Delivery Leadership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of data, AI, and technology initiatives by defining scope, roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes while managing multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity and dependencies.
• Technology & Architecture Alignment: Partner with architecture, engineering, and data teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions, translate business needs into technical requirements, align dependencies across platforms and systems, and provide informed guidance on solution design and delivery approaches.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, and leadership stakeholders by providing clear project updates, communicating risks and decisions, and fostering alignment across diverse groups.
• Planning, Governance & Execution: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to SDLC, governance, and Agile or Hybrid delivery frameworks and proactively adjusting plans to address changing priorities and risks.
• Risk, Financial & Resource Management: Identify and mitigate risks, escalate critical issues, manage budgets, forecasts, and resource plans, and ensure delivery meets time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams by establishing roles, expectations, and success metrics while coaching and mentoring team members to support accountability and performance.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Support contract negotiations, ensure compliance with vendor agreements, and oversee delivery activities performed by third-party vendors and managed service providers.
What you will need to succeed:
Education
• Preferred engineering and business background. • PMBoK, Scrum Training, Architecture Overview Training, Lean Six Sigma, or other related training are considered assets. • Degrees/Certifications Required: Irrelevant (dependent on candidate proficiency and capabilities).
Experience
• Proven experience delivering data, AI, or technology transformation programs. • Solid experience across Finance and Treasury domains, including: o Financial data platforms (GL, sub-ledgers, reporting, reconciliations). o Treasury operations (liquidity, cash management, payments, FX, banking integrations). o Regulatory, compliance, and financial reporting processes. • Experience working with finance transformation initiatives (e.g., FP&A, ERP, data modernization). • Experience with project tools (e.g., Planview, JIRA, MS Project). • Familiarity with managed services, ticketing, and monitoring systems.
Competencies
• Strong understanding of modern technology stacks (cloud, APIs, data platforms such as Databricks/Snowflake, analytics/AI solutions). • Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technology, translating complex technical concepts into business outcomes. • Strong knowledge of SDLC delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). • End-to-End Analysis & Systems Thinking with strong breadth of technology knowledge (Data, AI, Platform, Transformation Delivery). • Techno-Functional Leadership. • Hands-On Delivery Management. • SDLC, Planning & Execution Excellence. • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management.
