The Operational Readiness Coordinator supports the planning, coordination and delivery of Operational Readiness activities across the MIP SESA Right Side of the V Organization. The role coordinates readiness program, documentation, training, operational procedures and evidence to support Infrastructure Performance Demonstration (IPD), Construction Completion, City Acceptance and the commencement of passenger service. The role shall maintain regular liaison with the SESA & Infrastructure Performance Demonstration (IPD) Lead / Validation Manager.

Main Responsibilities

Support development of the Operational Readiness Plan. Coordinate readiness activities across all disciplines. Monitor program milestones. Report progress and delivery risks. Coordinate operational procedures and work instructions. Support operational training and familiarization Coordinate readiness reviews and workshops. Monitor completion of readiness actions. Maintain operational readiness records. Coordinate evidence supporting Infrastructure Performance Demonstration (IPD). Support Construction Completion and City Acceptance submissions. Maintain document registers. Liaise with Operations & Maintenance teams. Coordinate activities with Testing & Commissioning and Construction. Maintain regular liaison with the SESA & Infrastructure Performance Demonstration (IPD) Lead / Validation Manager. Support City and stakeholder meetings. Identify readiness improvements. Capture lessons learned. Promote consistent working practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Operations or Project Management or related discipline. Minimum of five years’ experience supporting operational readiness on major infrastructure delivery or railway projects. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience with coordinating multidisciplinary teams with knowledge of operational planning processes. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Valid Class 5 license; clean abstract preferred Ability to navigate the terrain of an in-process construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders, steep/ slippery terrain, walking, and working outdoors in all types of Edmonton weather and conditions
