Fall 2026 Work Term Term Length: 4 months Term Start: September 8, 2026 Term End: December 18, 2026 The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role. Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit). Basic Function The Associate, Warehouse is responsible for the efficient picking, checking, packing, receiving and shipping customer orders while strictly following GMP guidelines and the Standard Operating Procedures. Nature and Scope Under the supervision of the Manager, Supervisor, Supply Chain and Distribution, the Associate receives, picks, checks, stages and ships drugs, medical supplies and patient materials following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The warehouse associate is responsible to perform other duties such as general housekeeping, inventory checks and quality assurance checks, etc. The work is performed according to set practices and procedure and is of a routine nature. What you will do Receiving Welcome delivery trucks. Receive and unload incoming products and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment. Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received. Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects, and notify team lead of findings. Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items. Replenish shelves in the warehouse. Operate pallet jack and/or reach truck in loading and unloading materials. Material Handling Read Pick worksheets and verify the materials. Verify all product numbers, lot number and expiry dates. Conduct weekly inventory counts . Use of an RF Scanner. Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs. Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify team lead mmediately. Adjust work orders as required when the material is short, according to the work order. Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Shipping Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs. Package and ship in accordance with SOP, packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices. Replenish packaging materials in the warehouse, fridge and freezer. What you will need Warehouse experience, Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Data Entry Skills, Dependability High School diploma. Ability to lift up to 45lbs. Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. 95% of the work is done while in a standing position. Concurrently, 75% of this time is spent bending, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing and lifting objects up to 45lbs, buddy system thereafter. The physical environment is a clean, quiet warehouse area. The job has a routine work pace with an enhanced degree of pressure. Ability to work various shifts Monday-Friday, depending on business needs.
