How You’ll Support the Team In this role, you will collaborate and work with the Community Development team and local partners to deliver workforce development programs. You will also have the following accountabilities: Support program delivery of immigration and workforce development programs. Provide technical guidance on immigration and workforce programs to potential candidates or employers on program eligibility and application process. Perform employer or candidate application assessments and provide recommendations for immigration and workforce programs. Execute outreach responsibilities with partner organizations to generate program awareness. Work with employers to advise and facilitate resources to support the retention and community integration of top talent in support of the City’s economic growth. Contribute to quarterly labour market analysis that identify labour gaps to provide recommendations for immigration and workforce programs on priority NAICS and NOC codes. Provide performance updates and expert guidance to the program specific advisory councils. Build a knowledge repository of local, national, and international immigration pathways, programs or resources, as well as expertise in the talent attraction, in support of partners and client service provision. Maintain relationships with workforce development, immigration and settlement organizations, key stakeholders and federal and provincial governments key representatives. Organize a variety of workshops and events focused on immigration, workforce programs, and efforts to attract and retain labor. Complete reporting requirements in relation to funding agencies and government agencies. Provide insight and information for communication and marketing strategies regarding immigration and workforce programs, integration, and retention efforts. Work collaboratively with municipal, provincial, and federal government partners from relevant departments, aligning and advancing these relationships to deliver on CEDC corporate priorities while maintaining political awareness and sensitivity. Two years of experience in program or project delivery. Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary business environment.
