Part-Time Coding Instructor (Nova Coders Program)

Valde Industries Inc. is hiring Coding Instructors to join its Education Branch and support the delivery of its Nova Coders program in high schools across the Greater Montreal Area.

This role is designed for individuals with a strong foundation in computer science who are seeking structured, part-time instructional experience in a professional educational environment.

Position Overview Coding Instructors are responsible for delivering structured extracurricular coding sessions in high schools. The role involves guiding students through project-based learning activities, reinforcing core programming concepts, and supporting teams as they design and develop functional software applications. Instructors are expected to maintain a high standard of clarity, structure, and engagement while ensuring students progress through the program objectives.

Compensation and Benefits $35/hour 1 to 10 hours per week Flexible scheduling aligned with academic commitments OPUS card costs reimbursed Part-time contractual role Start Date: Fall Semester 2026

Requirements Completed 1 year of CEGEP in Computer Science, or higher Strong understanding of programming fundamentals Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively Professionalism and reliability in a school environment

Bonus skills Prior tutoring or instructional experience is considered an asset
