Develops knowledge in performance sciences, advanced strength and conditioning and advanced therapies in the sport setting. Using a mixed model of interactive classroom sessions and practical experience with a REDS athletic team, knowledge from various Kinesiology courses is applied through leading athlete physical testing, designing and implementing athlete physical preparation and recovery (i.e., warmups, cooldowns), managing and presenting data, providing strength and conditioning coaching, and assisting in athlete rehab and return to play.
