Health And Safety Coordinator
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate workplace injury claims and communicate with employees, managers, the CNESST, and external partners. Manage the purchase and inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE). Support emergency preparedness and first aid programs. Maintain HSE documentation, compliance records, and required workplace postings. Provide administrative support for digital HSE systems and reporting. Coordinate HSE vendors, purchasing, and invoice processing. Support site safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Health & Safety, or a similar coordination role. Fluent in French and English (spoken and written). Experience managing workplace injury claims; CNESST experience is a strong asset. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
