Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care 📍 Location: Multiple Acute Care Hospitals Across British Columbia, Canada 💰 Pay Rate: CAD $48–$60/hour 🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | 80 Hours Bi-Weekly | Rotating Shifts 📅 Contract: 4–13 Weeks (Extension Possible) Position Summary Russell Tobin is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for travel assignments in Acute Care Hospitals across British Columbia. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute care hospital settings. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress. Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and wound care as prescribed. Deliver pre-operative, post-operative, and medical-surgical nursing care. Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams. Respond effectively to changing patient needs and clinical emergencies. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems. Adhere to BCCNM standards, infection control protocols, and organizational policies. Requirements Current registration and good standing with BCCNM. Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care, Medical-Surgical, or Hospital Nursing experience. Current BLS Certification (required). Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and workflows. Flexible to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
