Your Impact as a Training Designer

Reporting to the Director of Training and Leadership Development, the Training Designer plays a key role in transforming business needs into engaging, learner-centred digital learning experiences. With a strong focus on e-learning, this role leads the full design process—from understanding learning needs and shaping solutions to developing high-quality online content and measuring impact.

By combining instructional design best practices, multimedia, learning technologies, and a creative mindset, the Training Designer helps build practical, accessible, and impactful learning experiences that support employee growth and organizational performance.

What you will do

Work closely with identified stakeholders to clarify learning needs, challenge assumptions and translate requirements into practical learning solutions Design and develop learning materials that create learner centred training experiences. These include exercise workbooks for participants and facilitators, presentations, reference guides, work tools, videos, e-learning, quizzes, 360-degree videos, etc; Use learning data, participant feedback, and performance indicators to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements. Contribute to the promotion of training programs or activities; Proactively seek training providers and establish partnerships with them; Identify best practices by actively participating in technological monitoring in learning, telepresence, and the evolution of virtual reality; Adhere to administrative and documentation requirements

This role could be for you if you have

Diploma in educational technology is an asset; A graduate diploma in adult education and training will be considered a major asset; Relevant experience in adult training program design (Andragogy); Knowledge of the construction industry will be considered a major asset; Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite; Mastery of using authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline), or equivalent Experience with, VYOND, Canva, Camtasia Experience using an LMS Experience using AI tools responsibly as learning tools to support instructional design, content creation, learner engagement, and continuous improvement of training experiences; Attention to detail; Strong organizational skills and project management abilities; Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization; Strong analytical skills; Full proficiency in French and English
