About The Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate E-Learning Developer to join our client’s team on an ongoing project-to-project basis. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex information into accessible, interactive, and visually compelling learning modules. Your work will directly influence how users engage with educational content, making a tangible difference in their learning journeys. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your Articulate Storyline and Rise expertise to build engaging experiences, from assembling multi-media assets to developing intricate, step-by-step product simulations. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment where tight timelines are met with clear communication and a shared commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with instructional design teams to develop cutting-edge e-learning courses using Articulate 360. Design and create highly engaging, interactive course content that adheres to SCORM/xAPI compliance and is compatible with various learning management systems. Apply a strong aesthetic sense and graphic design skills to ensure all content aligns with established brand guidelines. Configure courseware with robust reporting mechanisms suitable for diverse learning management systems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during the development or deployment of e-learning modules. Perform thorough quality assurance testing to guarantee course functionality and alignment with client expectations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest e-learning trends, technologies, and development techniques. Contribute to project planning and timeline management, ensuring all deadlines are met with precision. Communicate proactively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, computer science, or a related field. At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing e-learning courses with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise). Profound understanding of SCORM/xAPI and other relevant e-learning standards. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. Meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to excel both independently and within a team setting. Candidates must be based in Canada (T4 eligible). Availability to work consistently from 9 AM-5 PM EST; completing assignments outside these hours is not an option. Ability to provide your own laptop and an active Articulate 360 license. Submission of links to recent Storyline & Rise work samples is required for consideration.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning content management systems (LCMS).
