Job Description & Requirements

• Please note: term of employment is as stated above OR return of incumbent.

We are seeking a qualified teacher who must possess:

• A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate, or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
• A major or minor in physical education at the undergraduate level.
• A strong academic background.
• Demonstrated ability to instruct the new Physical Education/Health Curriculum for early/middle years students.
• Experience in curriculum planning, implementation, assessment, instructional diversity and classroom learning environment as it relates to a multi-age setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team in delivering a quality program.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• Previous successful early/middle years teaching experience.
