About the role
Key Responsibilities:
During this 4-month program, you will actively contribute to real-world projects, including: Infrastructure Provisioning & Config: Assist in setting up and configuring virtual machines, containers, and physical servers. Cloud Support: Help manage cloud resources across [e.g., AWS / Azure / GCP], ensuring high availability and scalability. Automation (IaC): Write and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) and utilize tools like [Terraform / Ansible] to automate repetitive infrastructure tasks. Monitoring & Alerting: Support the setup and tuning of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to proactively detect system anomalies and ensure uptime. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation on infrastructure architecture, configurations, and deployment procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and possesses a foundational understanding of core IT infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related technical field (or recent graduate). Foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Subnets). Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). Familiarity with core cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:
Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. Basic familiarity with Version Control Systems, specifically Git. Previous academic projects or self-taught experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
