THE ROLE

STRIVE is currently hiring for a MIG Welder for a well-established manufacturing company in Hamilton, ON . Assist in welding shafts and fabricating other products by following work orders. This role does not require a welding ticket, though welding experience is a strong asset. Training will be provided by a senior fabricator for the right candidate. The ideal candidate is skilled in MIG welding, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment while producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on shafts and fabricated products Follow work orders, ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints Inspect welds to ensure quality and accuracy Operate welding equipment and basic shop tools safely Assist in the welding department as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Support team production and troubleshoot minor issues

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience Welding experience required (no ticket needed) Strong work ethic and team player Problem-solving mindset with good initiative Forklift certification (asset) Must provide own CSA-approved metatarsal safety boots Communicate effectively with internal departments
