Securiguard is seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our guard in car team. The guard will remain on-site in a parked vehicle to observe and protect the premises, deter suspicious activity, and ensure the safety and security of the property. This is a temporary contract for 3 weeks only.

What you contribute:

• Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR
• Previous security experience preferred
• Previous Use of Force training and arrest experience will be considered an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports.
• Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code and 494(c)
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Ability to conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations.
• Strong observational skills and situational awareness
• Able to stand/patrol up for up to 12 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Remain stationed in a vehicle at assigned site during shift
• Monitor the property continuously for suspicious activity or security threats
• Maintain visual surveillance of entrances, driveway, and surrounding areas
• Deter trespassing, theft, or unwanted activity through visible presence
• Respond immediately to incidents, alarms, or disturbances
• Contact dispatch, supervisor, or emergency services when required
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports during the shift

Pay Rate: $20 up to $23
