Title: Senior AI Agent Engineer Location: Toronto, ON Duration: 5 Months

Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade AI agents and agentic workflows. Enhance and optimize existing Python-based AI agents for performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with SMEs to design effective AI-driven solutions. Debug, evaluate, and improve agent accuracy, observability, and operational performance. Contribute to AI engineering best practices and stay current with emerging agentic AI frameworks and trends. Support CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring across enterprise environments.

Must-Have Skills: Strong Python development experience with deep knowledge of concurrency, performance optimization, and system design. Hands-on experience building, deploying, and evaluating production AI agents. Strong understanding of LLMs, agentic systems, prompt/ context engineering, and AI orchestration. Experience with Langfuse, OpenShift/ Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis. Extensive experience using Claude Code or similar AI coding agents. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have: Experience with LangGraph, AutoGen, Claude Agent SDK, or custom agent frameworks. Cybersecurity domain experience (CrowdStrike, Splunk, Mandiant, etc.). Experience evaluating framework vs. custom orchestration approaches.
