Provides independent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of patient situations and managing contingencies. Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs. Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors effects, and documents patient information. Educates patients, families, and caregivers on care needs and resources. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred), at least one year of related experience, and active RN licensure with required certifications such as BLS, NRP, and ACLS. Must complete organizational onboarding, annual competencies, and hold specialized certifications like FHM, NCC C-EFM, or equivalent, within specified grace periods. Experience in perinatal or acute care settings is preferred. The role is PRN, per diem, as needed.
