Job Description The incumbent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ground operations and ensuring that they meet Air Transat's high standards and safety requirements. As an ambassador for the Company, the Supervisor will also promote and maintain a safety culture at all times. Ensure compliance with Air Transat's airport policies and procedures regarding the treatment of passengers, both in terms of check-in and boarding by assisting and supervising the handler's teams Communicate the guidelines to the airport's business partners; As required, attend operational meetings and follow up on service level agreements (SLAs) with our suppliers Conduct station inspections in accordance with company programs, identify corrective actions and ensure their implementation; Provide coaching and mentoring to operational teams, both those of Air Transat and the various service providers Manage station delays, emergency events and irregular operations Work closely with airport authorities, government agencies and ground handling agents; Qualifications High school leaving diploma or equivalent; Minimum of 7 to 9 years pertinent experience in passenger services with at least 3 years in a leadership role; Familiar with Transport Canada airline regulations, CBSA and USCBP regulations; Extensive experience with above and below the wing operations; Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and multitasking as well as an ability to work effectively under pressure; Must be flexible to work all hours/days (irregular hours) as dictated by operational requirements; Computer systems: Microsoft Office; Oral and written fluency in French and English. * *A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
