About the role
Your mission:Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, the Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our production processes by conducting tests and analyses on raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. Pulp quality testing Chip testing Select process testing Your profile: Grade 12 completion or GED Successful completion of a two-year diploma in a Technology Program with major emphasis on chemical and/or environmental analysis from a recognized Technical Insitutue; or Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science from a recognized University Proven experience with environmental or chemical laboratory work Class 5 Driver's license Comprehensive knowledge of computerized systems Proactive, detail-oriented approach to work Ability to work effectively in a team environment Our offer: Immediate start possible Permanent or temporary hourly position 4 on 4 off shift pattern or Monday - Friday, based on the job requirements Compensation according to the rates agreed between the mill and the local union Attractive benefits and pension plans according to the labour agreement
