The** Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese ** (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. ABOUT
As part of a Franciscan faith community, St. Joseph the Worker Schoo l shares in the mission of the Church to proclaim and build the Kingdom of God. Located in Richmond near the waterfront village of Steveston, the school is a vibrant learning centre that nurtures and develops the whole child; mind, body and spirit. JOB DESCRIPTION
St. Joseph the Worker Elementary School is seeking a part time Music teacher (3 days / week, 0.6 FTE) commencing September 1, 2026. In addition to teaching Music to K-7 students, the Music teacher leads the organization and production of an Advent concert, a spring concert / school musical, and the music for monthly masses. The Music teacher oversees the primary and intermediate choirs outside class time. Experience leading a band program would be an asset. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching and learning, enjoys working in a team environment and is able to contribute to the school community outside the classroom through their love of music. This is an opportunity for the Music teacher to grow and build on a strong music foundation at St. Joseph the Worker.
