Due to growing demand for strategic design, we are adding a Workplace Strategy Associate to support our WPS Director in our Commercial Design/Build environment. About You Knowledge, Skills and Abilities· Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear insights and recommendations;· Excellent facilitation, communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging a variety of stakeholders and senior leaders;· Ability to translate complex findings into clear and compelling presentations, recommendations and conversations;· Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;· High level of curiosity, emotional intelligence and professionalism, including comfort navigating ambiguity, differing perspectives and challenging conversations;· Strong collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams;· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with survey tools, workplace analytics, CRM or data visualization platforms considered an asset; and· Interest in continually learning and growing in the fields of workplace strategy, organizational culture, employee experience and the future of work. Experience· 5+ years of experience in workplace strategy, interior design, facility management, or research/consulting services related to place design.· Experience in multi-project and multi-customer environments is highly valued. Credentials· Post-secondary degree preferred, ideally in a relevant field such as Interior Design, Architecture, Psychology, Organizational Behaviour/Development, Human Resources, Business, Communications or related discipline;· Workplace strategy, facilitation, change management or data analytics certifications considered an asset; and· Driver’s License and personal vehicle may be required for travel to meetings and client sites.
About the RoleThe Workplace Strategy Associate supports the delivery and growth of Aura’s Workplace Strategy Program by assisting with the planning, facilitation, analysis and coordination of workplace strategy engagements for prospective and existing clients. Working closely with the Director of Workplace Strategy, the role helps gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative workplace data through workshops, stakeholder interviews, surveys and utilization studies to support the development of strategic workplace recommendations. The Workplace Strategy Associate contributes to the preparation of client deliverables, workplace insights and presentation materials while helping expand Aura’s capacity to deliver multiple workplace strategy engagements simultaneously. The role also supports collaboration between workplace strategy, design, construction and business development teams to help ensure workplace solutions align with client business objectives, culture and employee experience goals. Details below:· Support the Director of Workplace Strategy in the delivery of workplace strategy engagements for prospective and existing clients;· Assist in planning and coordinating workplace strategy workshops, stakeholder interviews, surveys and discovery sessions;· Co-facilitate workplace strategy sessions with clients and project stakeholders to gather insights related to workplace experience, operational effectiveness, culture, collaboration and space utilization;· Capture and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data collected through workshops, interviews, occupancy studies and employee engagement activities;· Analyze workplace strategy data and trends to identify key themes, opportunities, pain points and utilization patterns;· Assist in preparing workplace strategy reports, presentations and client deliverables, including workplace recommendations and occupancy insights;· Support the development of workplace strategy tools, templates, processes and presentation materials to enhance consistency and scalability of the WPS program;· Conduct research on workplace trends, hybrid work strategies, employee experience, organizational effectiveness and emerging workplace practices;· Assist with workplace utilization studies, benchmarking exercises and data visualization to support strategic recommendations;· Collaborate with internal design, construction and business development teams to ensure alignment between workplace strategy findings and project outcomes;· Participate in client meetings and presentations to support the communication of workplace strategy findings and recommendations;· Maintain accurate project documentation, meeting notes and supporting records throughout the lifecycle of workplace strategy engagements;· Support ongoing relationship management with clients by assisting with follow-up communication, reporting and presentation preparation; and· Assist with undertaking other duties and responsibilities as required.
