About the role

Project Manager – Capital Markets & Finance Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 Days WFO) Duration: 12 Months

Role Description The Project Manager will be responsible for translating project vision into high-level scope, design, and executable delivery plans within Capital Markets and Finance programs. The role requires strong governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and end-to-end program execution capability in a complex enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities

Program Planning & Execution

Translate project vision into program-level scope, design, and executable plans. Define and maintain program roadmap, project plans, and implementation strategies aligned with stakeholder direction. Integrate project plans at program level and develop estimation models where required. Refine plans continuously and manage performance against baselines.

Governance & Delivery Management

Operationalize governance and oversight across the program. Establish processes for identification and tracking of program/project issues. Manage complex issues and escalate to executive/steering committees when required. Develop and maintain program metrics, KPIs, and status reporting.

Risk & Issue Management

Ensure risk assessments are completed and mitigation plans are defined. Identify, quantify, and manage tactical, operational, and strategic risks using a risk-based approach. Execute contingency planning and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

Develop strong relationships with Executive Sponsors, Business, and Technology owners. Manage program-level communications including executive status reporting. Provide timely updates on risks, issues, and delivery progress. Create clarity in ambiguous environments and drive alignment across teams.

Change & Transformation Management

Develop case for change and support end-state transformation roadmap design. Work closely with Business and IT delivery teams to ensure alignment. Apply organizational change management best practices.

Resource & Program Management

Manage resource planning, scheduling, and capacity alignment. Establish policies and procedures to ensure high-quality delivery outcomes. Manage program scope using fact-based metrics and assumptions.

Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of Capital Markets & Finance domain. Knowledge of financial products and their interdependencies.
