NL Health Services is seeking applications for Family Medicine physicians to join the GP Obstetrics Program at James Paton Memorial Regional Health Center in Gander, NL. ? This position is accountable for the leadership and management of their clinical program(s) for the Central Zone. This includes providing professional quality medical services and knowledge to deliver optimum levels of service in an interdisciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care. The Clinical Chief/Site Lead will promote and maintain positive relationships with all clients, patients, visitors and staff.? The term is three years with annual review, which may be extended for an additional three years pursuant to NLHS Bylaws Respecting Medical Staff. We are looking for individuals who have strong leadership and communication capabilities, can motivate team members, move projects forward and can translate innovative ideas into reality.? ? Responsibilities:? ???? ? ? Provision of clinical care, both inpatient and ambulatory, given by members of the Division? ???? ? The promotion of research. ? ???? ? Coordination within interdisciplinary colleagues for teaching and research.? ???? ? ? At the direction of the Clinical Chief conduct Physician Performance Appraisals and address any areas of concerns for the physicians in their division.? ???? ? ? Further duties will be discussed during the interview? ? Qualifications? ???? ? Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons ofNewfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL).???? ?
