Description:
The Material Handler reports to the Stores Lead and is responsible for verifying quantity and
conformance of materials, preparing records of materials shipped and bill of ladings as well as
routing materials to appropriate destinations. The Material handler will also be responsible for
performing random parts audits for the customer while meeting quality, cost and time
commitments.
What you will be responsible for:
- Receive, sort, store, issue, stage, move dispatch and ship materials, parts, tools, and
assemblies throughout the facility
- Provide timely updates on significant issues and developments to the aircraft supervisor
and stores supervisor
- Ensure all tasks are prioritized according to the return to service schedule
- Works to maintain a strong relationship with functional support groups to ensure all
activity is compliant and conforms to the AMO and Customer Guidelines
- Keep detailed reports on all parts in relation to each project in the AMO
- Performs escalated expediting when required to ensure on time delivery of material
- Mitigates risks for short term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful
customer delivery
- Actively participate in AAR Aircraft Services Windsor’s Safety Management System
(SMS), including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations;
understand and promote the company safety policy
- Other duties as required or directed
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to utilize computer systems to input and retrieve information to perform normal
daily activities
- Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and be able to complete tasks
quickly, efficiently, and accurately
- Must be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization
- Positive attitude & strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter and organized as well as highly motivated
- Ability to make timely and informed decisions in a high-pressure environment
Physical Demands/Work Environment:

of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this
job.
- Working within the stores department
- Ability to physically lift/push/pull 50 lbs
- Flexible shift availability for AOG (urgent) requirements

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $21.84 to $25.50 hourly. This range reflects the
base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education,
and location. Temporary roles are not eligible for benefits.
