About the role
JOB TITLE: Engineer-In-Training II Transmission Integrity Management Program (TIMP) LOCATION: North York ON HYBRID: working onsite Mon/Tues/Thurs; working remotely Wed/Fri LENGTH: 1-year contract
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting pipeline integrity assessment and analysis for transmission pipelines.
What You Will Do:
Execute threat management programs for assigned pipelines in the transmission system. Contribute to the team objective of achieving safety targets including zero rupture and zero leak goals. Assess pipelines for retrofits prior to in-line inspection, select inspection technologies and techniques, determine re-inspection frequency of pipelines. Analyze data from Inline Inspection, Direct Assessment, Hydrotesting and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) field results and determine actions such as required Integrity Digs and Repairs, as well as pipeline Fitness for Service. Support the development of threat management programs as assigned.
Who You Are:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university. Minimum 2 years of engineering experience related to oil and gas or pipeline operations. Experience with cross disciplinary teams. Solid understanding of transmission pipeline systems. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Compensation: $43–$50/hr depending on experience, classification, and contract structure. Final compensation will be determined based on candidate qualifications and client requirements.
