Your New Role As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert responsible for the implementation, administration, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and enterprise systems. You will play a hands-on role in designing, deploying, maintaining, and securing highly available AWS environments while supporting a broad portfolio of business-critical applications and SaaS platforms. Working closely with IT and business stakeholders, you will: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud environments. Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code solutions. Lead cloud infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and modernization initiatives. Develop monitoring, observability, and operational tooling to improve system reliability and performance. Support SaaS platforms including Google Workspace and Zoom. Drive DevOps best practices and mentor team members on automation, deployment, and operational excellence. Strengthen cybersecurity through patch management, identity management, vulnerability remediation, and platform hardening. Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, policies, and SOPs. Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations that improve operational efficiency, security, and user experience. Partner with software development teams to streamline application delivery and deployment processes.
What You'll Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a related field. 5–8+ years of IT infrastructure, systems administration, or DevOps experience, including at least 5 years working extensively with AWS. Current AWS Associate or Professional certification. Strong expertise with AWS, Linux administration, and Bash scripting. Experience building and supporting cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Knowledge of cybersecurity, identity management, patch management, and platform security. Experience supporting SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace and Zoom. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive technical initiatives forward.
