Job Description The House of Commons’ Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff the Product Delivery Manager position for the Digital Quality Management Team. This recruitment and selection process is restricted to DSRP employees. The Product Delivery Manager (PDM) leads the delivery of high-quality digital products by overseeing Digital Quality Management and Operational Readiness and Release/Change Management functions. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Digital Product Quality Management, the PDM provides leadership to multidisciplinary teams responsible for quality assurance, accessibility, user experience, operational readiness, release planning, and deployment. The role manages performance, coaching, and development, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment while ensuring coordination, clear priorities, accountability, and continuous growth. The PDM drives alignment of quality, readiness, testing, and release activities across the product lifecycle to support reliable and accessible digital product delivery. Working closely with product teams, IT Operations, and stakeholders, the PDM coordinates quality initiatives, readiness assessments, and release processes, identifies risks, removes barriers, and promotes best practices in quality assurance and user experience. The role ensures teams deliver consistent results, meet organizational standards, and continuously improve delivery outcomes through strong partnership, effective governance, and a focus on operational excellence. Work-life balance /35-hour workweek. 4 weeks’ vacation (minimum) Qualifications Education : Graduation from a college or technical institute in information technology or a related field OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience Experiences : Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary technical teams, including performance management, coaching, and employee development, while delivering digital products across the full lifecycle Experience in one or more of the following areas: digital accessibility, user experience, quality assurance, release management, operational readiness, or IT operations Experience managing end-to-end product delivery, including testing, deployment, and production readiness Experience establishing or improving processes, frameworks, and governance related to quality or release management Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX specialists, operations, and business stakeholders Experience managing human and financial resources in a matrix environment Experience supporting production environments, including incident and issue resolution Experience working with Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and emergency release processes Knowledge & Experience implementing accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and user-centered design principles Assets : Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments Familiarity with IT service management (ITIL) practices Experience working in a public sector or parliamentary environment Additional Information We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace by providing a barrier-free recruitment and selection process.
