At D.A. Ferguson Middle School, we believe that

1.0 FTE Vice Principal- 2026- 2027 school year
Assignment
includes
- Administrative
duties. Learning Support Teacher anda
teaching component that has yet to be determined.
The
ideal candidate will be a dynamic, student-centered educator possessing the
following qualifications:

Successful teaching experience is a must; leadership/administrative
experience will be considered an asset.

Familiarity with the Leadership Quality Standards
-
A Master’s Degree in Education or a Master’s Degree
in progress.
-
Team-oriented leadership style emphasizing
collaborative decision-making, life-long learning, and staff development.
-
A history of building effective relationships with
all stakeholders.
-
Well-developed interpersonal skills, excellent
communication, and organizational abilities.
-
Proven record of excellence in areas of student
achievement, student assessment, and responding to instruction and
intervention.
-
A strong background in inclusive education and a
passion for advocating for every student’s success.

Knowledge of the importance of community
engagement, and the ability to foster school and community relationships.
This position will remain open until a
suitable candidate is found and will conclude June 25, 2027.
