About the Role NetworkPedia is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Specialist to support the Government of Alberta's Data Centre of Excellence. This role will help design and deliver enterprise analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across government ministries. The successful candidate will work on advanced analytics, AI/ML, data modeling, visualization, and analytical product development to support the Government of Alberta's Data Strategy.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver analytical models, dashboards, and data products. Perform advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, AI/ML, and predictive analytics. Build reusable analytical solutions using data science and machine learning techniques. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytics requirements and recommend data-driven solutions. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for executives and business users. Work with data engineers to prepare, model, and transform data for analytics. Present findings, roadmaps, and recommendations to senior leadership. Mentor team members and promote best practices in analytics and data science.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Machine Learning. Experience with predictive analytics, statistical analysis, and data modeling. Strong knowledge of Python, R, or similar analytics programming languages. Experience with SQL and large-scale data analysis. Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, clustering, regression, and statistical modeling. Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytical solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills Experience with AI/ML solution development. Experience creating synthetic or de-identified datasets. Data engineering experience. Metadata management and data governance knowledge. Experience working with cloud analytics platforms (Azure preferred). Government or public-sector analytics experience.
