Teaching assignment may include, but may not be limited to :

  • P H _E,_Nuu-chah-nulth language, plus other junior courses like math, science and electives .

The successful candidate will be :

  • willing and flexible to teach other subjects and in an outdoor setting as required;
  • be physically capable to perform the duties of the position.
  • experience teaching Nuu-chah-nulth language.

Essential Qualifications :

  • Valid BC Certification with the TRB, with qualifications and experience at the secondary level with a major in Science and/or Math and training and/or experience in current methodologies and strategies applicable to high school Science or Math. Recent experience teaching BC Curriculum Grades 8 to 12 Math and/or Science
  • A lived knowledge of the Nuu-chah-nulth Language & Culture, and experience teaching in Nuu-chah-nulth. Language fluency certificate.
