Role : Associate Generative AI Engineer Location : Toronto, ON Long term Contract

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-driven fresh graduates who are passionate about Python and Generative AI. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in programming and a keen interest in learning and building AI-powered applications, including AI agents, chatbots, and GenAI solutions. Must Have Skills Good programming skills in Python with understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, functions, and exception handling. Strong understanding of fundamental Computer Science concepts such as algorithms, databases, and software engineering principles. Basic exposure to Generative AI / Large Language Models (LLMs) through academic projects, internships, certifications, or self-learning. Familiarity with prompt engineering and effective interaction with LLMs. Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration concepts. Familiarity with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows. Basic knowledge of SQL and handling structured/unstructured data. Creating Agents in Github Copilot using skills and prompts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a passion for continuous learning. Good to Have Skills Exposure to GenAI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks. Basic understanding or hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and pipelines. Familiarity with Vector Databases such as FAISS, Chroma, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus. Exposure to building AI Agents or Agentic AI applications, including tool calling and workflow orchestration. Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) concepts and experience integrating or consuming MCP servers/tools. Experience creating and maintaining agent skill/configuration files, prompts, workflows, or reusable components for AI agents. Experience working on GitHub-based projects, including creating repositories, managing branches, raising pull requests, and collaborating on code. Exposure to frameworks/tools such as CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar agent frameworks through projects, hackathons, or self-learning. Responsibilities Learn, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and intelligent agents. Assist in building and enhancing chatbots, RAG pipelines, and Agentic AI solutions. Create, configure, and maintain agent skills, prompts, workflows, and reusable AI components. Integrate AI applications with external tools, APIs, and MCP-based services. Collaborate with senior engineers in designing, testing, and deploying GenAI solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation activities. Contribute to GitHub repositories following engineering best practices.
