In this role, you will be involved in:   •    Serve as a core member of the Social Impact leadership team, contributing to the development, prioritization, and execution of key strategic initiatives that shape the direction of ScotiaRISE and the broader Community Investment portfolio. •    Shape and evolve strategic direction – Contribute to the development and continuous refinement of the Community Investment and Social Impact strategy by identifying emerging trends, synthesizing insights, and recommending forward looking priorities that strengthen the Bank’s overall approach.•    Manage a strategic portfolio of Community Investments - Lead the end to end management of a defined portfolio of community partnerships aligned to ScotiaRISE priorities and the Bank’s broader Social Impact strategy. This includes proactively sourcing, assessing, and recommending high potential partnership opportunities; conducting evidence based analysis and due diligence to ensure strong alignment with ScotiaRISE pillars; and designing multi year partnership approaches that deliver measurable social impact and tangible business value•    Drive enterprise alignment and integration – Proactively connect Community Investment initiatives with broader organizational priorities, ensuring efforts are coordinated, scalable, and embedded across business lines through thoughtful planning, stakeholder engagement, and strategic foresight.•    Champions a client‑ and community‑focused culture to deepen partnership relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge, driving both social impact and business value through effective collaboration.•    Lead the design and execution of high impact activation opportunities that bring ScotiaRISE partnerships to life across communities, employees, and business lines. Identify creative, scalable ways to deepen engagement—such as events, digital campaigns, storytelling moments, volunteer initiatives, and partnership integrations—that strengthen program outcomes and increase awareness of the Bank’s social impact commitments   Additional Responsibilities  •    Serve as the primary strategic advisor for a community investment portfolio, presenting insights, partnership proposals, and performance outcomes to the Director and cross functional leaders to support enterprise decision making•    Oversee operational execution—including agreement development, Benevity workflows, budgeting, impact reporting, and partner stewardship—to ensure a consistent, high‑quality experience for external partners and internal stakeholder•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Bank to identify opportunities to strengthen, scale, and leverage community partnerships in support of broader business strategies and customer outcomes.•    Work cross‑functionally with Communications, Marketing, Regional teams, and external partners to design and execute integrated communications strategies that elevate the visibility and impact of ScotiaRISE and Community Investment partnerships•    Represents Scotiabank and/or prepares executives to represent the bank at events.    OTHER •    Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.•    Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. •    Provides mentorship and coaching to a direct report to ensure they have a positive work experience at Scotiabank (if applicable•    Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.           Dimensions •    Number of employees – 1  •    Countries / regions  / business units supported -Global  Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have the following:  •    7+ years’ experience in a partnership and/or relationship management role or project management. Knowledge in project management, sustainability, and the corporate community investment landscape is considered an asset. •    Preference for candidates fluent in French. Spanish fluency is considered an asset.•    Confident communicator with experience engaging diverse stakeholders, including senior executives; strong written and verbal communication, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills, with a strategic and logical approach.•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large, complex and highly visible projects•    Experience working in a matrix, global organization such as a financial institution is considered an asset•    Indigenous Relations and contextual knowledge of Indigenous Peoples.•    Comfortable with technology including proficiency with MS Office products specifically Excel and PowerPoint •    Understanding of Spark/Benevity digital platforms considered an asset                     Working Conditions •    Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.  Limited travel domestically   Location(s):  Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
