Compensation, Contract & Work Model The salary range for this role is $119,200.00 to $149,000.00. During the interview process, we'll determine the appropriate starting salary by considering your skills, experience, and how your background aligns with the scope and responsibilities of the role, while also ensuring internal equity across the team. Please note that contract positions do not include health benefits or other additional monetary benefits. This is an 14-month contract opportunity, with an anticipated end date of January 2028. We offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with the value of in-person collaboration. Team members work from our office at 225 King Street West, Toronto a minimum of three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days. If you're not currently within commuting distance, we welcome applications from candidates who are open to relocating to the Toronto area for this opportunity. Leadership Scope Direct and indirect leadership across transformation, data governance, data analytics, automation, AI enablement, project governance, and transformation resources as assigned. The source role describes leadership across Transformation, Data Governance, Data Analytics, Automation and project resources, and positions the role within the Finance Transformation Office. The Director, Digital Transformation, Finance leads the Finance Transformation Office and drives the execution of the transformation agenda across Finance and the broader business. The role provides structure, governance, and cross-functional coordination to ensure transformation initiatives are prioritized, delivered, adopted, and translated into measurable business value. This role acts as a senior transformation partner, connecting Finance, Technology, Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, and global/HQ teams. It combines transformation governance, process improvement, data and analytics enablement, automation, AI adoption, change management, and operating model evolution to simplify ways of working and improve decision-making. The Director is also the local business lead for key HQ/global transformation programs, including LEAP, MDM, and other enterprise initiatives. This includes coordinating local readiness, business requirements, data and process alignment, stakeholder engagement, deployment support, and adoption. How you will make an impact:

  1. Transformation portfolio and governance Lead the Finance Transformation Office roadmap and ensure priorities are aligned to business value, organizational capacity, and strategic objectives. Maintain portfolio visibility across priorities, timelines, risks, dependencies, decisions, resourcing needs, and expected outcomes. Prepare clear executive updates, governance materials, decision points, and escalation summaries for leadership forums. Drive consistent portfolio discipline, including project status, RAG reporting, decision logs, risk management, and monthly transformation updates.
  2. HQ/global transformation readiness Act as the local Finance Transformation lead for HQ/global programs such as LEAP, MDM, and other enterprise initiatives. Coordinate local readiness activities, including business requirements, process impact assessment, data readiness, documentation, ownership alignment, and stakeholder engagement. Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations, Technology, Data Governance, and global teams to identify risks, dependencies, reporting impacts, data cleansing needs, and adoption requirements. Represent local business needs and ensure Canadian processes and data requirements are appropriately connected to future-state global frameworks.
  3. Transformation and operating model evolution Support the evolution of Finance ways of working by embedding data, digital tools, automation, AI, decision rights, and process discipline into the operating model. Partner with Finance and cross-functional leaders to improve planning, reporting, analysis, governance, performance management, controls, and business decision processes. Clarify roles, responsibilities, ownership, governance forums, escalation paths, and ways of working across transformation initiatives. Identify process pain points, simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and support adoption of improved ways of working.
  4. AI, automation, data and analytics enablement Coordinate practical AI adoption and digital enablement in partnership with Finance, Technology, PRNA/global teams, and business functions. Identify, prioritize, and govern AI, automation, reporting, and workflow improvement use cases based on value, feasibility, risk reduction, and scalability. Support responsible AI adoption through appropriate data confidentiality, compliance, readiness, communication, training, and human-in-the-loop practices. Sponsor strong data governance and analytics foundations, including data quality, stewardship, common definitions, reporting reliability, and fact-based decision-making. Track adoption, maturity, business impact, value realization, hours saved, and sustainment needs for AI, automation, data, and analytics initiatives.
  5. Stakeholder alignment, communication and change adoption Act as a key liaison across Finance, Technology, Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, project sponsors, HQ/global teams, PRNA teams, external providers, and senior leadership. Build alignment across stakeholders while reinforcing ownership, accountability, delivery discipline, and adoption. Translate complex transformation topics into clear, practical, executive-ready messages tailored to different audiences. Lead communication, engagement, training, and change adoption activities linked to transformation priorities and new ways of working.
  6. Team leadership and capability building Provide leadership, prioritization, coaching, and direction to transformation, data governance, analytics, automation, and project resources. Clarify priorities, deliverables, ways of working, escalation paths, governance routines, and decision rights. Build capability through onboarding, development, knowledge sharing, functional collaboration, and connection with regional/global counterparts. Ensure continuity of critical operations, recurring forums, stakeholder relationships, portfolio deliverables, and transformation programs. What you bring: 10+ years of experience in transformation, finance transformation, digital transformation, governance, program management, consulting, business strategy, technology-enabled change, or enterprise delivery roles. Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving business, Finance, Technology, and senior stakeholders. Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to connect transformation priorities to measurable business outcomes. Experience building governance frameworks, executive reporting, portfolio views, decision materials, and leadership communications. Experience supporting local and HQ/global transformation programs, including readiness, requirements, stakeholder engagement, governance, change adoption, and deployment support. Strong understanding of AI-enabled transformation, automation, data governance, analytics, reporting platforms, and digital enablement. Ability to operate in ambiguity, manage competing priorities, influence without direct authority, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment. Experience in enterprise transformation environments. Experience with platforms and capabilities such as Power BI, Power Automate, RPA, MDM, Product Cloud, Anaplan, ERP/EPM platforms, LEAP or equivalent enterprise transformation programs. Experience partnering with HQ/global teams, North America teams, IT, data governance teams, business functions, and external solution providers. Post-graduate qualification or certification in change management, data transformation, data governance, analytics, finance transformation, project/program management, or related fields. Strategic transformation leadership — connects business priorities, Finance transformation, technology capabilities, and execution into a clear roadmap. Governance and portfolio discipline — creates clarity on priorities, ownership, risks, decisions, escalation, cadence, and follow-through. Executive communication — translates complex transformation, data, AI, automation, and global program topics into clear, decision-ready messages. Digital, AI and data fluency — identifies and scales practical digital, AI, automation, data governance, and analytics opportunities. Change leadership and adoption — builds engagement through communication, stakeholder support, training, and practical adoption methods. Collaboration and influence — works across functions, levels, and geographies with credibility, transparency, and accountability. Resilience and ambiguity management — maintains momentum, prioritizes trade-offs, and solves problems in complex, evolving environments. What Success Looks Like: A successful Director, Digital Transformation, Finance will be recognized as a strategic integrator who brings structure, clarity, and momentum to the transformation agenda. Success means building a disciplined portfolio, enabling better decisions, strengthening governance, improving stakeholder alignment, and ensuring transformation initiatives deliver measurable value. The role will also be measured by its ability to mature data, analytics, automation, and AI capabilities; simplify processes; support adoption of new ways of working; and maintain strong readiness for LEAP, MDM, and other HQ/global initiatives.
