ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a results-driven E-commerce Specialist to grow and optimize our digital retail presence across global markets. This role focuses on managing Amazon storefronts in multiple regions while supporting other online channels and our website through SEO, conversion optimization, and customer journey improvements. Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, you will drive online sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and deliver a seamless customer experience across all digital channels. This is a new, full-time 12-month contract role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Amazon & Marketplace Management Manage day-to-day operations across Amazon and key online retail channels, e.g., Amazon Canada, US, UK, Australia, Walmart.com, Target.com, including SKU setup, catalogue management, listing optimization, content uploads, and technical troubleshooting. Create, maintain and optimize high-impact product detail pages (PDPs), A+ Content, Brand Stores, and other customer-facing assets to improve discoverability and conversion. Monitor account health, catalogue accuracy, fulfillment metrics and inventory levels, coordinating with internal teams to ensure strong marketplace performance. Execute promotional programs including Lightning Deals, Subscribe & Save, coupons, Prime Day initiatives and seasonal campaigns. Track competitive activity, pricing, assortment changes, customer reviews and marketplace trends, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay current on Amazon algorithm updates and marketplace trends, proactively sharing insights and recommendations. Support the evaluation and management of additional e-commerce marketplaces and digital retail opportunities as needed.
Website & Ecommerce Monitor website performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, and customer behaviour. Identify opportunities to improve website content, navigation, user experience and conversion through testing and data analysis. Collaborate with marketing and third-party development partners to implement website enhancements and e-commerce best practices Drive SEO initiatives, landing page optimization, and content improvements to increase organic traffic and conversion. Support the development and execution of digital merchandising strategies across e-commerce channels.
Retail Media & Advertising Manage and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brand and Sponsored Display, to maximize performance and return on ad spend (ROAS). Conduct keyword research, search term analysis, bid optimization, negative keyword management and campaign performance reviews. Monitor advertising performance against key metrics, including ROAS, CTR, conversion rate and sales growth. Collaborate with internal and external creative resources to develop effective advertising, merchandising and promotional assets. Identify opportunities to improve both paid and organic visibility across ecommerce channels.
Analytics & Reporting Build and maintain dashboards and weekly trackers covering SKU-level sales, advertising performance, inventory health, pricing, share of voice, website metrics, and competitive activity. Deliver regular reports to marketing and leadership, translating platform data into actionable insights and recommendations across pricing, promotions, content, and inventory. Analyze marketplace and website data to identify trends, opportunities and areas of improvement. Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance pricing strategies, promotions, customer acquisition and conversion improvement. Support forecasting, business reviews, and ongoing ecommerce performance analysis.
Other Support the planning and execution of trade shows, events, and other promotional initiatives as required. Contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience in e-commerce or a related commercial role. Experience working within Amazon Seller Central (3P) and/or with Vendor Central (1P) preferred Demonstrated experience with Amazon advertising tools, including the Advertising Console, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and third-party campaign management platforms. Knowledge of additional online retailers such as Walmart.ca, Walmart.com, Target.com, and Well.ca is considered an asset.
Technical Skills: Solid working knowledge of Amazon's ecosystem, including Seller Central, Vendor Central, Brand Analytics, the advertising console, FBA operations, case management, and A+ Content. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data modelling, and business case development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex platform data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations. Familiarity with e-commerce reporting tools and dashboards; experience with third-party Amazon analytics platforms considered an asset. Strong understanding of e-commerce SEO principles and their application to product listings and marketplace content. Effective communicator with the ability to present data, insights, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly through reports and dashboards.
Travel: Travel may be required as part of this job, including but not limited to automobiles, airplanes, and trains. Must have a valid passport and be able to travel both domestically and internationally, and possess a valid driver's license. Must comply with local and international health guidelines
