Project Control Officer – 7-10 yrs coordination, PM software (MS Project/Planview), reporting, risk mgmt, scope & quality expertise
About the role
Title Project Control Officer Description Responsibilities: Provide assistance to Managers, Project Managers and project team, in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core project components. · Manage project/work plans, tracking and analytics for the program/project execution. · Responsible for creation and/or maintenance of management dashboards and executive summaries. · Process Workflow Management from ticketing, and risk/issue management.
General Skills: Experience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintaining project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc. Experience working alongside Managers and Project Managers to provide updates, escalate issues where required, identify risks, and lead/coordinate project document deliverables. Demonstrated experience working in a professional environment supporting multiple Project Managers and critical projects. Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs. Experience scheduling meetings. Experience with monitoring a project document repository and ensuring all documents are reviewed and maintained in the repository. Demonstrated understanding of project methodologies (e.g., Waterfall/AGILE) through-out the software development life cycle.
Desirable Skills: Demonstrated Project Management software skills and experience (e.g., MS Project, Planview, etc). Understanding of Project Management concepts (e.g., project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management). Experience with SCRUM an asset. Experience with mainframe/legacy systems.
Assignment Type: This position is listed as Onsite; the resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between the standard working hours of 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified OPS office location.
Extension/Amendment Attestation: Extensions are permitted only to the extent of unused contract days and/or remaining contract funds. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value, including any extension options set out in the original SOW. HSC may exercise its option to extend the SOW beyond October 5, 2027, provided that the Master Service Agreement is extended. Any such extension shall be on the same terms, conditions, and covenants as those contained in the SOW.
