Project Manager, contract position Number of positions 1, 6month initial contract, with possible extension Location: Montreal and Toronto Must be eligible to work in Canada Hybrid role, 2-3d/w onsite mandatory, 7hr/d billing no exceptions
Roles and responsibilities: In this role, you will be supporting and managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects within a major Finance & Actuarial Transformation program. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery: Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with a primary focus on Oracle R2R (Record to Report) and C2P (Close to Report) workstreams. Governance & Collaboration: Drive cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and project governance to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes. Financial & PMO Tracking: Partner closely with the FT&S PMO to maintain accurate project documentation, budgets, and financial tracking. Change Management: Implement systems, methodologies, and change management strategies to ensure smooth project adoption.
Must have skills/experience/qualificaitons: Experience: 5–10 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint. Soft Skills: Strong planning, negotiation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in Canada. Preferred Assets Experience with Oracle implementations, finance transformations, and/or regulatory projects. Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Scrum. Bilingualism (English/French) is highly preferred.
