The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. .Position Overview Under the general direction of the Director of Psychology, , and under the direct supervision of a Registered Psychologist, the incumbent is generally responsible for the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological tests and measures, assisting in the treatment of patients, gathering information in structured interviews, and preparing clinical reports. Collects and assists in the evaluation of data.Experience

Minimum five years recent related clinical experience working with children and adolescents. Experience administering, scoring and interpreting standardized psychological tests. Experience in providing structured evidence based psychological interventions and psychoeducation for common childhood problems. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Master’s degree in Psychology from a recognized university is required. Certification/Licensure/Registration

Registration with Psychological Association of Manitoba (PAM) preferred. Qualifications and Skills

Extensive knowledge of testing procedures, test forms, and materials used in psychological assessment. Knowledge of psychological test interpretation. Extensive knowledge of the application of psychological principles to mental health and illness. Foundational knowledge of normal development and psychopathology. Demonstrated ability to conduct a clinical interview with a patient and, where applicable, with collateral informants (e.g., family members) and other practitioners. Demonstrated ability to work well with patients of all ages. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of data management skills. Ability to speak and understand French would be an asset. Satisfactory Criminal Records, Child and Adult Abuse Registry checks. Physical Requirements
