Job Title: Python Full Stack Developer – GenAI Focus Location: Montreal, Canada (On Site) Job Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced Python Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Generative AI (GenAI) technologies to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular. You will collaborate with global teams to develop innovative solutions, leverage AI-powered development tools, and contribute to high-impact enterprise applications in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python and React/Angular. Build clean, efficient, and optimized code following industry best practices. Utilize Generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Agent Mode, AI coding assistants, etc.) to improve development productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, stand-ups, and project status updates. Develop and execute unit tests to ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. Work with relational and NoSQL databases for application development and optimization. Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and application monitoring. Learn and adopt proprietary frameworks, coding standards, and development practices. Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance while adapting to evolving business and regulatory requirements. Required Skills 7+ years of overall software development experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development. Strong experience with React or Angular. Experience with Generative AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI development tools. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other RDBMS/NoSQL databases. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, containerization, and DevOps practices. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience writing comprehensive unit tests and delivering high-quality code.
