JOB DESCRIPTION
Rate: $62-$65 Per Hour
Location: Remote, EST Hours
Employment: 14 Month Contract
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Integration Specialist for one of Canada's leading insurance companies. This individual will join a team supporting a strategic data modernization initiative focused on delivering reliable, analytics-ready data to pricing and actuarial teams. The role is highly hands-on and centered around building and enhancing data pipelines, developing business-ready datasets, validating and reconciling data, and troubleshooting complex integration challenges. This is an opportunity to play a key role in productionizing a critical solution while contributing to the organization's migration from Synapse to Databricks.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years of experience of hands-on data engineering and development
• Designing and implementing silver-to-gold pipelines in Databricks
• Developing complex business transformations using PySpark, Python, and SQL
• Experience validating the data - building metrics, how to approach reconciliation, etc.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Insurance experience
We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
