About the role

Front Desk employees serve as the first point of contact for our hotel guests. They are key to ensuring a high end guest experience. Duties including answering phone calls, greeting guests, and overseeing reservations. Front Desk agent also help with planning guests trips on the Island, so having a strong understanding of PEI is an asset.

Our primary shift work for this position will be 3pm-11pm or 7am-3pm. It should be noted that it would be helpful to be a resident of Charlottetown.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and provide them with superb customer service.
  • Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper.
  • Answer all client questions and incoming calls.
  • Understand and manage third party booking sites such as booking.com and Expedia
  • Redirect phone calls to the appropriate department and take down messages.
  • Helping take guest luggage up flights of stairs
  • Accept all letters and packages, and distribute them to their appropriate departments.
  • Monitor, organize and forward emails.
  • Maintain records and files.

Requirements: High school diploma or relevant qualification.

  • A minimum of 1 years? proven experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of PEI & Charlottetown specifically.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
