Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr.Business Consultant/Securitization. This position involves managing delivery continuity and mitigating execution risk across multiple active and upcoming initiatives within the Securitization portfolio. The successful candidate will collaborate with diverse teams, translate complex requirements into actionable solutions, and ensure seamless project delivery.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with teams including Front Office, Finance, Market Risk, Global Middle Office, Back Office, and technology groups Gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into reporting and application features Elicit, document, and prioritize risks and requirements to define project scope Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to secure buy-in on solutions Perform current-state, target-state, gap, and impact analysis on business processes Validate that proposed solutions and testing approaches meet business needs Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production or data file errors Coordinate with downstream teams and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables and expectations are aligned
Desired Skill-Set
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar business or IT role within capital markets or securitization environments Strong understanding of requirements gathering, design methodologies, and technical investigation skills Familiarity with data modeling, static data, and data repositories Experience reviewing and supporting solution design and project planning processes Deep knowledge of capital markets, including MBS, securitization, fixed income products, or related fields Proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases, including query writing and optimization Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability Proven record of working within dynamic, high-pressure roles, particularly in retail mortgage or securitization projects Proactive, curious, and engaged with technological tools and project partners Hands-on experience with front-end securitization tools Strong professional presence and communication skills to effectively translate technical solutions into business terms
Nice to Have
Experience with Asset Backed Securities or US Whole Loans within capital markets
