About the role

Painting Team Member (Summer Student Position) – Kitchener, ON.
Employment Type: Part Time, Seasonal | Experience Level: Entry-Level

Compensation: $22.00/hour

Schedule: On Site, Monday to Friday

The Painting Team Member will be responsible for interior and exterior painting projects for residential and commercial properties, ensuring all work is completed with a high level of quality, precision, and attention to detail. This role includes edging, rolling, surface preparation, and general painting duties to maintain clean, professional, and visually appealing finishes.

This is a part-time summer student position, requiring flexibility in scheduling. Hours will typically range from 10–30 hours per week, depending on project demands and weather conditions for exterior work.

Responsibilities

  • Painting & Surface Preparation

  • Assist with setup and cleanup of job sites

  • Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment as required

  • Support general property upkeep and light maintenance tasks

  • Adhere to safety procedures and proper handling of materials

Key Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently

  • Physically capable of standing, lifting, and working on ladders

  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

  • Previous painting experience is an asset but not required (training provided)

  • A valid G driver’s license is an asset, but not required for this role.
