Senior IT Business Analyst - SCM
About the role
Required Skills & Experience 9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation management, logistics, and supply-chain processes. Demonstrated experience supporting system implementation, enhancement, integration, and process-improvement initiatives. Proven ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements. Experience creating process flows, use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. Experience coordinating UAT, defect resolution, deployment readiness, and post-implementation support. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Practical, hands-on exposure to Warehouse Management & Finance Systems with Operation knowledge. Good knowledge of project-management practices, including planning, requirements tracking, risk management, and testing methodologies. Familiarity with requirements documentation tools and process-modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharting). Understanding of integration points between transportation, warehouse management, and broader ERP Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to varied audiences. Ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, senior leaders, and external partners. Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives to completion. Experience working in logistics, transportation, or distribution-focused organizations. Exposure to additional supply-chain or warehouse management systems (WMS, ERP platforms). Experience working in agile or hybrid project delivery environments. Familiarity with reporting and data analysis tools to support decision-making Knowledge on ERP (IBM iSeries) and Web Technology support.
Education and Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in any domain. Certification in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
