We stand proudly for our people and support their success through career development and advancement. We are recognized and respected for our culture of inclusion and belonging, continuously striving to do what’s good for our people and communities.

The Impact You Will Have

Imagine this scenario: You’re asked by senior business development leaders to launch a dynamic webinar and virtual event series showcasing a breakthrough technology solution to business decision makers across North America. It’s on you to shape the strategic vision, drive registration and audience engagement, and own each virtual event from concept to completion. The opportunity is huge—no other competitor is offering a digital experience like this. If executed well, this series will redefine how prospects and clients perceive Softchoice’s brand.

If this sounds like an exciting challenge to tackle—you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

The Softchoice Corporate Events Marketing team strives to be one of the most strategic and inventive event marketing groups in the IT industry. In an increasingly digital world, we understand the power of virtual experiences. We create engaging, data‑driven, and inspirational digital events that meaningfully impact business outcomes across our external and internal programs. Our work enables Softchoice sales teams and partners to spark impactful interactions with clients. We are seeking a Webinar & Virtual Events Specialist to help us elevate our virtual event strategy and deliver world‑class digital experiences.

The Webinar & Virtual Events Specialist will be responsible for project managing Softchoice’s virtual event and webinar programs across North America, enabling our salesforce and partners with high‑value digital engagement opportunities.

What You’ll Do

Virtual Event Design & Execution

Own the end‑to‑end planning, production, and delivery of virtual events and webinars—including technology setup, run-of-show, speaker management, dry runs, and live delivery. Serve as producer and project manager for webinar series, partner‑led virtual events, and customer‑facing online experiences. Build sponsorship packages for virtual programs and manage communication with internal stakeholders and external partners. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align event themes, content, and messaging to business outcomes. Drive registration, attendance, and audience engagement through strategic planning and thoughtful digital experience design. Coordinate all cross-functional touchpoints for each event, ensuring clarity, alignment, and seamless execution. Manage all virtual event platforms and tools (e.g., Teams Live, Goto Webinar, Cisco Webex), optimizing setup and audience experience. Work closely with outsourced agencies to produce, edit, and execute virtual events, including managing the creation, quality control, and delivery of prerecorded webinar content. Develop and manage event budgets, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders. Create event briefing materials and lead internal pre‑event meetings to ensure all contributors are prepared for seamless execution.

Marketing Communications & Promotion

Partner with internal designers to develop compelling event graphics and promotional assets. Collaborate with the web team to publish and maintain event listings, landing pages, and registration forms on Softchoice.com. Work with external suppliers and internal communications partners to develop digital collateral and supporting materials. Contribute new ideas and innovations that elevate the virtual attendee experience and drive stronger digital engagement. Own event reporting dashboards leading up to each event, tracking key KPIs and performance against business objectives.

Post‑Event Analysis

Own all reporting related to registration, attendance, engagement metrics, and business impact. Deliver post-event insights on what worked, what didn’t, and recommendations for future improvement. Track budgets and marketing development funds (MDF) to ensure accurate documentation and program compliance. Provide partners with post-event reporting, proof of execution, and performance summaries.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

Has 1–3 years of experience in marketing, digital event production, or webinar management. Is skilled at managing both large‑scale virtual events and smaller webinar programs. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Sees change and ambiguity as opportunities to innovate. Holds a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Event Management or Project Management certification is an asset). Builds strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and communicates with clarity and confidence. Is an exceptional communicator, including strong writing, editing, and presentation skills. Asks insightful questions that clarify goals and drive alignment. Is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to guide cross‑functional teams toward a common mission. Brings creativity and energy to shaping meaningful digital event experiences. Has strong attention to detail and a high standard of professionalism. Understands modern marketing techniques, digital engagement, social media, and industry trends. Has working knowledge of virtual event tools, marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems. Experience with CVENT, Asana, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce is an asset.
