One 4 Yacht Group is a yacht management business based in Coal Harbour in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.

We are hiring a professional and passionate individual with housekeeping experience for a seasonal position to clean yacht interiors in a fast- paced environment. We put a strong emphasis on teamwork and working together to get the job done. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting and communicating with yacht owners and crew members in a positive and welcoming manner. Marine experience is considered an asset, but training is possible for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping interior living areas of yachts
• Laundry when necessary
• Protecting, maintaining, and caring for valuable interior items and surfaces
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, washing, vacuuming, shampooing, disinfecting, and scrubbing, as applicable, all surfaces, floors, walls, fixtures, furniture, and appliances in the interior areas of the yacht
• Maintaining adequate cleaning supplies and equipment according to instructions and work assigned
• Cleaning the interior windows, other glass surfaces, shades and blinds
• Replenishing materials, such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels in designated areas according to the needs
• Collecting garbage and waste from the interior of the yachts
• Reporting any unusual circumstances related to the yacht?s security.
• Cleaning is an important job that requires an individual to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently
• Be physically able to lift heavy items.
• Cleaning bathrooms and toilets with cleaning supplies.
• Being friendly and approachable to customers and co-workers.
• Following health and safety procedures to protect the environment and oneself.
• Following the company dress code

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, and peers
• Highly enthusiastic, detail-orientated, and driven
• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Fluent in English
• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Vancouver, BC V6G 3J1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Cleaning: 2 years (required)
