About the role
Application C++ Developer (Generalist) Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid – Flexible Office Schedule) Duration: 6 month Contract with Strong Potential for Extension
Pay Rate: $59.59 (T4 only)
What You'll Be Doing Design, develop, and enhance high-performance applications, features, components, and plugins using C++. Build and maintain cross-platform software that runs seamlessly across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Develop automation tools and scripts using Python to improve workflows and development efficiency. Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Manage source code using Git/GitHub while following modern software development best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to secure, scalable, and maintainable software. Support CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes using industry-standard tooling. Work with package management and artifact repositories to streamline application deployment.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as an Application Developer or Software Developer. Strong professional experience developing complex applications in C++. Solid scripting experience using Python (or a similar scripting language). Experience developing cross-platform applications for: Windows macOS Linux Strong experience with Git/GitHub version control. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. Nice to Have Experience with any of the following is considered a strong asset: CI/CD and orchestration tools such as Jenkins Artifact/package management tools such as Artifactory, NuGet, or Conan Secure coding practices and security scanning tools including Black Duck or Gara Sign Experience working on large-scale engineering products or enterprise software
