About the role

Location New Westminster Campus

Salary Range

$27.14 per hour (with wage increments to a max of $30.30 per hour). Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

The Opportunity

You are a responsible individual that has a drive for timely and accurate processing College payments, reimbursements and preparation of reconciliations. You are meticulous with audit compliance of documentation submitted with government and College guidelines and regulations. As someone who works with great accuracy and able to resolve issues, you play a key role in producing payments for vendors, employees and students while providing account reconciliation for all stakeholders. You hold a high ethical standard when providing exceptional client-centered service to all stakeholders, including participating in training of new Accounts Payable positions.

What It Takes

Completed a one-year related program at a recognized post-secondary institution and a minimum of two (2) years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum one-year experience using a major ERP accounting system. Proven ability to: Keyboard at 45 w.p.m. and enter data accurately at an intermediate level; Work independently with minimal supervision Plan and organize high volumes of work in order to meet deadlines

This temporary full-time (35 hours per week) position is available starting July 2, 2026 to April 28, 2028. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department’s need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required. The position is located at the New Westminster; however, successful candidate must be available for occasional work at the Coquitlam campus.
