About the role

We are seeking an experienced Red Seal Journeyman Roofer focused on industrial roofing repairs, maintenance, and modifications in Fort McMurray. Our projects are primarily on administration buildings, maintenance shops, and ATCO trailer complexes within active industrial sites.

This role is ideal for someone who excels in troubleshooting, working through existing conditions, and leading efficient repair-focused crews.

Please note this a contract role until October 15th. The shift is 6 days on/1 day off - 10/12 Hr/Day in Fort McMurray

Responsibilities

Under direction form Roofing Lead perform roofing repairs, service work, and system modifications Assess roof conditions, identify deficiencies, and determine repair approaches Complete work on: Membrane systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC) Torch-on and modified bitumen systems Leak detection and targeted repairs Perform tie-ins, retrofits, penetrations, and small re-roof sections Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards Coordinate with site personnel, project managers, and other trades in active facilities Complete daily reports, hazard assessments, and service documentation Mentor crew members and maintain productivity in a service environment Requirements

Journeyman Roofing Certificate Strong troubleshooting and leak detection skills Hands-on experience with membrane and torch-on systems Experience working on industrial sites Valid CSO certification Ability to obtain and maintain site access (including D&A testing and orientations) Fall Protection certification
