We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to bring their real-world clinical data expertise to cutting-edge AI projects. You'll help ensure that AI models trained on healthcare data reflect the accuracy, compliance, and integrity standards the industry demands.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for seasoned health informatics and data governance professionals who want meaningful work on their own schedule.
Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Apply your healthcare data governance expertise to evaluate, structure, and validate health data used in AI model training Define and assess governance frameworks, data quality standards, and compliance controls within AI training workflows Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in health data sets — flagging issues with clear, structured documentation Work across clinical, operational, and technical domains to ensure AI-ready data meets regulatory and quality standards Review and provide expert feedback on AI-generated healthcare content, workflows, and data structures Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule
Who You Are
Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health informatics Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy laws and regulatory frameworks — including HIPAA and related standards Able to think cross-functionally across clinical, technical, and compliance domains Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating data quality and governance controls Clear and structured written communicator who can document findings effectively Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows Background in EHR systems, health information management, or clinical informatics Experience with data quality frameworks, master data management, or regulatory audits Familiarity with AI tools or large-scale health data systems
