UX Designer (Intermediate) Location: Toronto, Ontario Contract Duration 8 Months

Position Overview The Client is seeking an Intermediate UX Designer to lead the design of complex digital services and create user-centered experiences from concept through production. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in UX/UI design, user research, accessibility, information architecture, interaction design, and modern AI-assisted design tools.

Mandatory Qualifications The candidate must demonstrate: Experience leading the design of complex digital services from concept to production. Expert knowledge of: Information Architecture Interaction Design User-Centered Design (UCD) methodologies UX principles and best practices Hands-on experience with: Figma Axure Demonstrated experience producing key UX deliverables, including: User Flows Wireframes Mockups Clickable Prototypes Presentations Reports Experience conducting: User Research User Interviews Usability Testing Experience designing accessible online services. Proficiency with: Design and prototyping software Digital collaboration tools Web conferencing platforms Demonstrated use of AI tools to support UX/UI activities, including: Wireframe generation User behavior analysis Research synthesis Design acceleration

Key Responsibilities Create engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences. Design end-to-end product functionality to ensure exceptional user experiences. Develop user interfaces for: Web applications Digital displays Publications Multimedia and creative assets Apply user-centered design methodologies and iterate designs based on testing results. Conduct: User research Stakeholder interviews Surveys Usability studies Translate research insights into: Information Architecture Sitemaps User Flows Customer Journey Maps Wireframes Mockups Interactive Prototypes Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine solutions. Utilize AI-powered tools such as: Figma AI Galileo AI Google Analytics Intelligence Microsoft Copilot to: Generate design concepts and wireframes Build UI components Analyze user behavior Synthesize research findings Accelerate content and UX decision-making

Required Skills & Experience

UX/UI Design Experience creating GUI designs based on user behavior and performance data. Experience as a: UX Designer UI Designer Interactive Designer Related UX/UI role Experience designing for: Web applications Mobile applications

User Experience & Research Expertise in: User Research User Journey Mapping Information Architecture Wireframing Prototyping User Testing Experience conducting interviews and surveys and translating findings into user-centric designs. Experience gathering and incorporating user feedback into interface improvements.

Product Design Experience designing and optimizing: Wireframes User Stories User Flows User Journeys Mockups Prototypes Ability to identify design challenges and deliver elegant, user-focused solutions. Experience making strategic design and UX decisions related to product functionality and feature enhancements.

Collaboration & Delivery Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills. Proven ability to: Manage competing priorities Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Meet project deadlines

AI-Enabled Design Experience leveraging AI-powered design and research platforms. Ability to integrate AI tools across the UX lifecycle to improve: Efficiency Personalization Research outcomes Data-driven decision making

Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of: Web technologies Technical limitations and capabilities of digital platforms

Nice-to-Have Skills Knowledge of: Network Security Network Protocols
